Review:

I've wanted to read this book since I was a kid. I can't even tell you why I didn't if I'm being completely honest. The only reason I can think of is the impact that Where the Red Fern Grows had on me. I also need to watch the movie as well. I think sad stories about dogs, cats, and children really aren't good for my mental health. I do love the ones with the happy endings though. This almost makes me wish I had children so I could read it to them and watch the movie with them. I can recommend it at least, so there's that.
